TVS Apache 125 New
TVS is preparing to launch its brand-new Apache 125 in India, a bike designed to combine sporty looks with excellent mileage efficiency. The new model is expected to be priced at around ₹85,000 (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for riders seeking both style and value. With a mileage claim of nearly 70 kmpl, the Apache 125 positions itself as a commuter-friendly motorcycle packed with performance-inspired design.
Sporty Design with Aggressive Styling
The TVS Apache series has always carried a sporty identity, and the new Apache 125 continues this tradition. Inspired by its bigger Apache siblings, the motorcycle will feature sharp body lines, an aerodynamic headlamp design, muscular fuel tank, and stylish graphics. TVS aims to appeal to younger riders as well as daily commuters who want a bike that doesn’t just perform but also looks premium on the road. Alloy wheels, LED lighting, and a sporty exhaust are expected to enhance its street presence further.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Apache 125 is likely to come equipped with a refined 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. TVS may tune the engine to generate a balance between fuel efficiency and performance, delivering around 11-12 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. The expected transmission is a 5-speed gearbox for smoother acceleration and comfortable long rides.
The biggest highlight is its claimed 70 kmpl mileage, which places it among the most fuel-efficient sporty commuter bikes in the segment. This will make the Apache 125 highly suitable for city riding as well as occasional highway trips
Features and Technology
The bike is expected to be loaded with modern features to stand out in the competitive 125cc market. Some expected features include:
Digital instrument cluster with speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and fuel gauge.
Possible Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect system for navigation assist and call/SMS alerts
Front disc brake for improved safety, with an option of single-channel ABS
Telescopic suspension at the front and monoshock setup at the rear for better ride handling.
