Hero Honda Bike
Hero Honda has relaunched its iconic CD100 bike in 2025, aiming to disrupt the commuter motorcycle market and directly challenge the dominance of Splendor. The new CD100 promises a remarkable mileage of nearly 90 kmpl and comes with an attractive starting price, making it a compelling choice for urban and rural riders alike
New Generation Engine & Mileage
The 2025 Hero Honda CD100 features a next-generation eco-commuting engine. It sports a 97.2cc, air-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, equipped with advanced fuel-injection technology and compliant with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms The engine produces about 8.1 PS at 8000 rpm and torque of 8.05 Nm at 600 rpm, offering genuine on-road mileage between 75-90 kmpl, depending on riding conditions. This makes the CD100 one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in its segment
Classic Meets Contemporary Design
The new CD100 combines a retro aesthetic with modern features. Riders can enjoy classic round headlamps, analog-digital instrument clusters, colorful graphics, improved seats, and chrome rearview mirrors, recalling the visual identity of the original model that captured the hearts of Indian bikers Its comfortable ergonomics—2000 mm length, 790 mm seat height, 165 mm ground clearance, and approximately 110 kg weight—make it suitable for daily commutes, errands, and deliveries
Features and Variants
While the CD100 keeps technology practical rather than flashy, essential improvements ensure everyday usability. Features like side-stand engine cut-off, telescopic front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and the combined braking system improve safety and comfort The 2025 CD100 comes in several variants
CD 100 Base: Spoke wheels, kick-start
CD 100 Plus: Alloy wheels, self-start
100 Deluxe: Alloy wheels, self-start, USB charger, upgraded graphics
